PM Johnson outlines new tiered regional restrictions once lockdown ends

'For the first time since this wretched virus took hold, we can see a route out of the pandemic', Boris Johnson tells MPs

England will transition from national lockdown on 2 December into a tougher regional system until the end of March, the prime minister has told MPs.

During a 23 November address to Parliament, which Boris Johnson conducted virtually as he is self-isolating after being exposed to an individual who had tested positive for Covid-19, the prime minister presented restrictions for the nation after the second nationwide lockdown ends.
