Private equity group EQT said its fund EQT Infrastructure II has successfully completed its fundraising at the hard cap of €1.925bn.

Interest from both existing and new investors was strong and the fundraising was completed after 11 months with a first close reached on June 29, 2012, securing commitments of approximately 75% of the targeted fund size.
