The European Parliament has voted to approve the amendments suggested by Chris Huhne, member of the European Parliament, to the controversial prospectus directive designed to clarify listing arrangements across Europe.
Huhne, the special rapporteur on the directive who drafted the amendments in response to lobbying by the financial community, said: "Basically, we got all the votes we needed."
