EU proposes tax on internet services

The European Commission is proposing a new directive that would charge value added tax (VAT) on internet services.

But by the time it has been passed by the European Council and Parliament to become reality, two to three years will have passed, confirmed a spokeswoman at the Commission in Brussels.
