The US-based dark pool operator enjoyed a 60% rise in its European revenues during 2013

Liquidnet, the US-based dark pool operator, saw its European revenues rise by 60% last year as institutional investors rediscovered an appetite for the region's equities.

Revenues at Liquidnet Europe Ltd rose by 60% to £33.5 million in 2013, according to UK Companies House filings last week. Its pre-tax profits rose from £1.5 million to £7.7 million over the year.
