EU to sue France over loan to Bull

The European Union is to sue the French authorities to recover a €450m ($525.36m) loan to Bull, the computer maker, which was granted last November as part of a rescue package and due for repayment by June 17.

Mario Monti, the European Commissioner, attacked the French government for a "serious violation" of EC state rules.
