Eurazeo consortium raises €2.4bn for Eutelsat

A consortium led by Eurazeo, a French holding group, has raised €2.4bn ($3.1bn) of debt for Eutelsat ahead of an initial public offering of the television satellite operator next year.

BNP Paribas was sole global coordinator and joint bookrunner for the financing, which included €1.6bn of senior debt. Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Bank of America and Royal Bank of Scotland were joint bookrunners.
