European banks “lag significantly” on ESG risk disclosures and need to support their climate-related work with more quantitative information, UBS analysts say.

The Swiss bank’s analysts focused on what they consider to be a “key topic” for banks in the European Union this year as a handful of central banks prepare to stress-test on climate change, starting with the Banque de France in 2021.
