Private equity, long finance's greatest sinner on keeping women out of its top jobs, seems to be changing - slowly

Private equity firms have boosted the number of women at the top of the industry in Europe, doubling female representation on executive committees in two years - but from a low base.

Women now make up 10% of members of private equity firms' executive committees, up from 5% in 2014, according to research from the think-tank New Financial.
