The first female chairman of Europe's private equity trade body has called for greater engagement with critics

The first female chairman in the history of Europe’s private equity trade body has issued a call to arms for the industry not to rely solely on the industry association to engage with its critics.

The European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association named Uli Fricke, founder of German early-stage investor firm Triangle Venture Capital Group, as chairman late last week.
