Tidjane Thiam, the former chief executive of Credit Suisse, has joined Gucci owner Kering’s board as a director.

Thiam, who resigned from the Swiss banking giant in February, was appointed to the luxury giant’s board alongside actress Emma Watson and Jean Liu, president of Chinese ride-hailing service Didi Chuxing.
