Ex-Goldman Sachs banker convicted of bribery, money-laundering in 1MDB case

A former Goldman Sachs banker was convicted 8 April of helping to loot billions of dollars from a Malaysian sovereign-wealth fund in one of the world’s largest financial scandals.

After deliberating over the course of four days, a federal jury in New York found Roger Ng guilty of conspiring to launder money and bribe officials in Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates.
