Dame Alison Rose is considering a legal challenge should NatWest decide to axe millions in share awards she had accrued before the summer's de-banking saga, according to reports.

Rose had led the taxpayer-backed bank for four years until she stepped down in July after confirming she had spoken to a BBC journalist about former UKIP leader Nigel Farage’s accounts with the lender.
