A former accountant at Big Four firm PwC has escaped being struck-off by a disciplinary body, despite serving time in the US for assaulting a woman on a plane.

James Phipps of the Isle of Wight was convicted of assault in 2019 after he touched a fellow passenger’s breasts on a flight and then threw a book in her face after she rebuffed him.
