F&C, the UK asset manager which was hit by outflows throughout last year, said it lost a further £584m (€854.4m) in net assets in the three months to December.

The loss excludes an expected withdrawal of £300m from insurance client, Resolution Life, which decided to remove £19.9bn in assets last year following its merger with Britannic Life.
