F&C Asset Management, the UK fund manager, has hired Urban Larson from Baring Asset Management as director of Latin American equities.

Larson will join F&C in early April from Baring where he has been vice-president and investment manager. At F&C he will report to Jeff Chowdhry, head of emerging equities.
