F&C Asset Management, a UK fund manager that focuses strongly on corporate governance issues, has added to its team with the appointment of the head of governance services at rating agency Standard & Poor's.

George Dallas has served in a number of senior roles at S&P, including head of emerging markets, European chief of the ratings service and head of the group's office in London.
