Family offices set to bet on private equity

Family offices are set to become a more important provider of money to private equity funds in 2010, with 69% willing to consider new relationships, according to a survey.

Preqin, renowned for supplying data to the private equity business, has carried out research on 34 family offices. It said that no less than 84% of respondents were happy with terms and conditions on offer, compared to 43% of institutional investors.
