Fast-growing Swedes break into funds supermarket top 10

Spanish group Allfunds held onto its top position in Platforum's rankings, but its competitors are coming up fast

MFEX, a Sweden-based funds supermarket group with €63 billion under administration, has become the fastest-growing large firm of its kind in Europe after a year of breakneck expansion.

Mutual fund assets administered by MFEX expanded by 50.7% in 2016, and the firm broke into the top-10 fund supermarkets in Europe for the first time at position 10, according to the latest report from market research firm Platforum.
