Favonius Ventures invests $5m in CreditTrade

Favonius Ventures, the Dutch technology venture capital firm, has invested $5m (€5m) in CreditTrade, the electronic credit trading platform, marking Favonius' first US deal since it launched in July 2001.

CreditTrade provides data to global credit markets, specialising in credit default swaps, secondary loans and structured products. Favonius' investment is part of an $8.4m round of funding.
