The Financial Conduct Authority has spent as least £5m on new laptops in the pivot towards working from home, new figures show.

A Freedom of Information Act request from the Parliament Street think-tank has laid bare the full cost of transitioning the roughly 4,200 staff at the watchdog to a hybrid model.
