UK markets watchdog's agreement with insurance regulator follows similar links with other authorities in the territory over the past year

FCA strikes third fintech pact with Hong Kong

The Financial Conduct Authority has expanded its fintech co-operation initiative with Hong Kong to span the full financial spectrum, after sealing a collaboration with the territory's insurance regulator.

The FCA said in a statement today that it had entered a co-operation agreement with the Hong Kong Insurance Authority to boost the two bodies' collaboration on supporting innovation in the fintech sector.
