FIA names new board

The Futures Industry Association, the trade body for US futures brokers, has appointed a new board at its annual meeting in Florida. The FIA re-elected Kenneth Ford, a director with Credit Suisse, as chairman of the 17-strong board.

Ira Polk, chief administrative officer of US brokerage MF Global, remains vice chairman, while Chris Hehmeyer, chief executive of Penson Worldwide’s futures clearing subsidiary Penson GHCO, was re-elected secretary and treasurer.
