Fimatex pays €62m for rival Selftrade

Fimatex, the French brokerage, has bought rival Selftrade from German broker DAB Bank for €62m ($65m).

DAB, which is controlled by HVB Group, the German bank formerly known as HypoVereinsbank, said in a statement on December 30 that the two brokers had signed an agreement in Paris. The consideration would be paid in cash, it added.
