Finnish internet firm rescues struggling Gigabell

Gigabell, the internet services firm that has been battling for survival on Germany's Neuer Markt, has been taken over by a Finnish internet service provider.

Saunalahti, Finland's second largest ISP, staged a rescue bid for Gigabell this week when it bought out the shares held by Daniel David, Gigabell's chairman and the majority stakeholder.
