Fintech Wematch names electronic-trading veteran to chair board

Former MTS chief executive joins the boardroom at electronic-trading software firm

Wematch, a fintech start-up pitching new trading technology to investment banks, has recruited a former chief executive of the London Stock Exchange’s electronic-trading venue MTS as its new chair.

The firm announced the appointment of Jack Jeffery, a 35-year markets veteran who has also done stints at Citigroup and EBS, a foreign exchange electronic broker now owned by Nex Group, in a statement on November 6.
