Fourth quarter dents Jupiter's 10-year inflow run

Jupiter Asset Management posts its first quarterly outflow in over a 10 years, while a setback in emerging markets means peer Aberdeen also suffers withdrawals in Q4

Jupiter Asset Management reported its first quarterly net outflow from its core UK mutual fund business in over a decade during the final three months of 2011 - though half of its total ouflows of £225m were accounted for by a single UK client.

That redemption came from a large UK corporate client, according to sources close to the fund manager, which pulled a £101m UK equities segregated mandate that Jupiter managed solely on its behalf.
