Fitch names new chief executive

Stephen Joynt will succeed Robin Monro-Davis as president and chief executive officer of Fitch, the international credit rating agency.

Monro-Davis, who has been in the credit ratings industry for more than 25 years, will continue to serve as a member of the board of directors of Fitch and Fimalac, the Paris-based group that owns Fitch.
