Ex-Goldman star hires from exit-plagued hedge fund

Portfolio manager from troubled hedge fund, which this week lost a third of its partners, has joined the growing cast at Flamand's new firm

Pierre-Henri Flamand, the former head of Goldman Sachs' principal strategies division, has hired an event-driven portfolio manager at hedge fund Stark Investments as the November launch of his new firm draws closer.

It has emerged that Oliver Haslam, who until April was an event-driven portfolio manager at the London office of beleaguered hedge fund firm Stark Investments, has joined Edoma Capital, this year's most anticipated hedge fund launch, where he has a similar role.
