Fleming and Gordon House buy 30% of university portfolio

Imperial College, the UK-based university and scientific research centre, has agreed to sell 21% of a portfolio of early-stage companies to the Fleming family fund and 9% to Gordon House Asset Management, a private-equity and hedge fund company.

The precise details were not disclosed but it is understood the agreement will give Imperial several million pounds for new research.
