UK fund manager Foreign & Colonial Management has hired Robert Siddles from rival Gartmore Investment Management to head up its US small cap team.

At Gartmore Siddles was head of US equities. He left the firm following its acquisition by the US mutual house, Nationwide of Ohio, and subsequent transfer of US equity management to the US.
