Former Old Mutual boss sets up boutique

The former chief executive of South African insurer Old Mutual's fund of hedge funds subsidiary has set up a hedge fund advisory boutique aimed at institutional investors, three years after leaving the financial services group.

Ross Jones ran Bright Capital, the £500m (€744m) subsidiary of Old Mutual, until leaving at the end of 2003 ahead of a move by the South African group to combine Bright with Old Mutual Asset Managers.
