Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer appoints M&A partner

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, the Anglo-German law firm, has appointed a new partner to its Munich office in the latest step in the firm's expansion in the German market.

Hans-Jörg Ziegenhain will join the firm from the Düsseldorf office of Baker & McKenzie, where he is an international partner. Ziegenhain specialises in public and private mergers and acquisitions, and has advised a variety of German corporates, as well as multinationals and private equity firms.
