Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has hired leveraged finance lawyer Carol Van der Vorst as a partner in its private equity team in London.

Van der Vorst was a partner in US law firm Ropes & Gray’s London office from 2018 and prior to that spent seven years at Goldman Sachs where she was a managing director in the bank’s debt underwriting group, according to her LinkedIn profile.
