FrontPoint chief changes roles

The chief executive of FrontPoint Partners, a $5.3bn (€4.2bn) hedge fund manager that was in acquisition talks with Morgan Stanley, has switched roles to become the firm's chairman.

The firm's website shows Philip Duff, a co-founder of the firm, is now chairman of FrontPoint. He remains a member of FrontPoint's management committee.
