FRR returns slump by a half

The Fonds de Réserve pour les Retraites, France's €29bn ($36bn) state pension buffer fund, returned 6.8% in the nine months to the end of September, less than half it pulled in for the same period a year before.

FFR returned 15.1% in the first nine months of last year, but this year has proved less successful.
