UK regulator has broadened the scope of its new rules on remuneration to cover more high-earning staff at financial firms

The UK Financial Services Authority has broadened the scope of its new rules on bonuses to cover more high-earning staff at financial firms, as it laid out its new pay guidelines for next year.

As expected, the FSA's Remuneration Code, which was released in the afternoon, mirrored the rules set out by the Committee of European Banking Supervisors last week.
