Funding Circle stock tanks as company cuts revenue target

The peer-to-peer lender has struggled since its listing on the London Stock Exchange last year

Peer-to-peer lender Funding Circle’s stock has tanked following publication of its results for the first half of the year.

Shares dived to a new low immediately after the results were released, trading below 130p shortly before 9.00am BST. That is less than a third of the company’s 440p IPO price in September 2018.
