German pension reform delayed again

The long-awaited German pension reform has been pushed back one year in order to reach an agreement with the Green Party.

A final decision on the reform was expected this month and what was agreed was to delay it for one year. The government decision, led by labour minister Walter Riester and finance minister Hans Eichel, is intended to get the Green Party in on the agreement.
