The European regulatory head at Getco, the influential US market-maker, has quit the firm a little more than a year after joining from the UK Financial Services Authority following a reorganisation of the company's oversight division.

Jennifer Boneham, who joined Getco in August last year as head of European regulatory affairs, resigned earlier this month, according to a Getco spokeswoman.
