GHO hires senior Macquarie dealmaker as final partner

Appointment comes as healthcare-focused private equity firm gears up to raise as much as $500m for its debut fund

GHO Capital Partners, the healthcare-focused private equity firm set up by former executives from 3i Group, JP Morgan and TPG Capital, has hired a former senior dealmaker from Macquarie Group as a partner.

Mike Turner, who most recently served as a senior managing director and head of principal investments for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at the Australian investment bank, has joined London-based GHO as its final partner, a spokeswoman for GHO confirmed.
