Martin Gilbert and his co-chief executive Keith Skeoch plan to stay at least a decade at the helm of their newly combined entity Standard Life Aberdeen, Gilbert has told Financial News.

The merger to create a Scottish fund management powerhouse, which formally completes today, brings together £660bn in client assets.
