GMO wins three emerging market mandates in Europe

GMO, the US-based fund manager, has won three large emerging markets mandates in Europe totalling more than £100m (€148m), shortly after predicting that emerging market equities will be the best performing asset class over the next seven years.

The ABB Foundation has appointed GMO to manage a £41m portfolio in global emerging markets and LGT Capital has hired the firm to run a £20m mandate.
