Mark Tercek, one of three co-heads of global equity capital markets (ECM) at Goldman Sachs, has been appointed to run the US bank's healthcare investment banking team.

The remaining ECM co-heads are Tim Bunting, formerly head of European ECM, and David Solomon, who was a member of the committee running the bank's fixed income, currency and commodity division. They replaced Mike Evans, who became co-head of European equities in November last year.
