Goldman joins satellite buying spree

Goldman Sachs Capital Partners has paid £363m (€519m) to BT for 15.8% of Eutelsat, the world's third-largest satellite company. The sale price means the UK telecoms group has netted almost $1bn (€754m) from selling stakes in satellite groups.

It is the first time Goldman Sachs' private equity arm has taken a stake in a satellite company.
