Goldman promotes Europe chief in latest management shake-up

Goldman Sachs has handed its most senior London-based banker responsibility for all of its operations outside of North America, as incoming chief executive David Solomon continues to reshape the US banking giant's executive bench.

Richard Gnodde, vice-chairman and CEO of operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has been given an expanded role to cover the bank's international operations, according to a memo seen by Financial News.
