Goldman research head retires

Andrew Melnick, co-head of global investment research at Goldman Sachs, is retiring from the bank just 18 months after his appointment.

He will leave the bank at the end of the year and become an advisory director. Suzanne Nora Johnson, Melnick's co-head, remains in charge of the division.
