Goldman Sachs appoints diversity chief

Goldman Sachs has created a new managing director position, focusing on global leadership and workforce diversity.

Laura Liswood, an adviser to the bank on diversity issues for the past three years, has been appointed to the post. Liswood is the author of Women World Leaders and is on the regional board of the United Negro College Fund in the United States.
