Goldman Sachs hires European securitisation chief

Goldman Sachs is set to mount a new push to build its deal structuring and execution capabilities in European securitisation markets after hiring Deutsche Bank's regional head of securitised products origination to spearhead the move.

Jeff Stolz, a managing director and one of the Deutsche Bank's most experienced and high profile securitisation bankers, left last month to join Goldman Sachs in London after a period of gardening leave.
