Goldman Sachs’s global head of digital assets Mathew McDermott says investors are now taking a “measured” approach to acquiring digital asset businesses after a manic few years.

“2021 and 2022 were crazy times for mergers and acquisitions, but we are now seeing a much more measured approach,” McDermott told Financial News. “I fully expect to see a consolidation phase in digital asset M&A activity in the near future.”
